“For the evacuation of Mariupol residents, 4 columns have been formed with a total number of 200 buses, of which 50 have already arrived in Mariupol. All Mariupol residents who wish will be taken to temporary accommodation centers,” he reported. the Russian state news agency RIA.

“Convoys of cars with humanitarian cargo were sent. The first convoy has already arrived in Mariupol and delivered 450 tons of medicines, essential items, and food, including baby food,” the Defense Ministry said.

Mariupol, a city in eastern Ukraine, has come under incessant airstrikes by Russian troops for the past few days, with main evacuation routes mostly blocked.
