Evertrue Capital Rolls Out $17 Million Fund to Back European AI and Fintech Startups

Evertrue Capital has unveiled its first fund, earmarking $17 million to support early‑stage ventures that are building artificial‑intelligence and fintech solutions throughout Europe.

Led by seasoned investor Yvonne Bajela, the fund seeks to deliver not only financing but also strategic advice to companies still in the seed or pre‑Series A stage. Bajela, with over ten years of experience steering Europe’s tech scene, explained that the vehicle intends to close the funding void many ambitious founders face once they move past the prototype stage.

While Europe’s venture‑capital environment has experienced a steady rise in AI and fintech projects, it continues to trail North America in the amount of early‑stage capital available. Evertrue’s arrival coincides with governmental pushes for innovation via regulatory sandboxes and tax breaks, as well as a growing appetite among big corporations to collaborate with agile tech startups.

Analysts point out that, although the $17 million pot is modest next to mega‑funds, it is sufficient to move a respectable cohort of firms from idea to market validation. Evertrue intends to spread the money across a varied portfolio, focusing on areas like predictive analytics, decentralized finance, and AI‑powered compliance solutions.

Prospective portfolio companies will gain access to Bajela’s extensive network of mentors, corporate allies, and subsequent investors. Evertrue has already started hunting for prospects in tech clusters including Berlin, London, Stockholm, and Paris, and anticipates its inaugural investments to be deployed within the coming quarter.

Going forward, the firm plans to evaluate the fund’s results after an initial 18‑month period and may launch a bigger vehicle should limited‑partner interest stay robust. By concentrating on AI and fintech, Evertrue aims to strengthen Europe’s tech competitiveness and enable domestic innovators to expand on a global scale.
